Eligibility & Admission

  • Academic Requirements:

    • Must complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Zoology/Botany) and English.

    • General category: 45–55% aggregate; Reserved (SC/ST/OBC): 40–50%.

    • Minimum age: 17 years by December 31 of admission year; some institutes cap maximum age at ~35.

  • Entrance Exams:

    • National: NEET-UG is now a prominent route (AIIMS B.Sc, CUET & NEET depending on institution).

    • State/University-specific tests: like AP NCET, CNET (UP), KCET, JENPAS UG, TS EAMCET Many state-level admissions remain based solely on 12th marks and category-specific merit lists .
